We had participants from both Finland and Estonia and covered Level 1 / Module 3 material based on Hatsumi Sensei's teachings at the 1999 UK Taikai.

Amatsu Tatara Hichibuku Goshinjutsu 天津 蹈鞴 秘致武九護身術 is the little known health and traditional physical medicine system of the Bujinkan.
Hatsumi Sensei inherited this system from his teacher Takamatsu Sensei and states that historically it would have been taught along side the martial arts of the Bujinkan.
U,K. and international courses are run by Bujinkan Dai Shihan, Peter King - Menkyo Kaiden and author of the book 'Life Secrets of the Amatsu Tatara'.
UK courses are sanctioned and regulated by the British Register of Complementary Prcationers (BRCP) and succesful completion leads to professional registration.

In the meantime well done to Level 3 students on the current UK course for there great work over the weekend.
While treatment is usually performed on a futon, we explored some applications of techniques using treatment couches / tables this weekend.
Note - the course can be taken live online, but unfortunately only in-person participation will lead to BRCP registration.

"Following an extensive series of interviews and discussions between the author and Hatsumi Sensei, who is the Sōke (Head) of the Bujinkan Dōjō Organization. This book details the traditional medical methods that Dr Hatsumi inherited from his teacher Takamatsu Toshitsugu Sensei. It is Hatsumi Sensei’s wish that a record of these traditions continues into the future. This book covers a broad range of subjects relating to traditional medical and health methods used in Japan, and in particular their relationship to Budō (Martial Arts). Containing numerous photographs of Hatsumi Sensei demonstrating these techniques in the Hombu Dōjō in Japan, and transcripts of interviews with him. This book also provides a historical record of the Amatsu Tatara Hisshin Ginkōroku, which was written by Takamatsu Toshitsugu Sensei, now for the first time translated* and published. It includes the spiritual aspects of the documents and an encyclopaedic list of pathologies and historical natural treatments.
